On behalf of the BPS EdTech Team, we’d like to extend an invitation to you and the stakeholders of your school community to visit our 1:1 Apple Distinguished high school on Thursday, November 20th. To best prepare for the day, we ask that you RSVP via Eventbrite by clicking on this link. When registering, please indicate the total number of people who will be visiting from your school. It is not necessary to bring printed tickets with you on the 20th. The welcome video below gives you a sneak peek of what you’ll see during your visit to Burlington.
Why Visit Burlington High School?
As pioneers in the state of Massachusetts, our 1:1 initiative has served as a model for schools throughout Massachusetts and beyond. We are embarking on our fourth year as a 1:1 iPad, Google Apps for Education high school and continue to openly share our successes, challenges, and vision for the future of our 1:1 environment. We realize it can be challenging for educators and administrators to leave their districts for any period of time, but we are confident that a visit to our school is a worthwhile investment of your time. You will leave with a wealth of information about how Burlington developed and maintains a successful 1:1 learning environment. You’ll have a sense of which aspects of our program might work in your school culture and most importantly, you’ll understand how technology impacts teaching and learning.
